Signature Blend of Ayurvedic Botanicals

Our proprietary formulas combine the most advanced clean ingredients from leading hair science with powerful, nourishing botanicals used in Ayurvedic haircare for more than 5,000 years for their proven results.

Shikakai

Shikakai (Acacia concinna) is known as the“fruit for the hair” for its many benefits for the hair. Shikakai is a natural mild cleanser that gently cleans the hair without stripping away the natural oils from it. It nourishes the follicles and adds shine to the hair while also making it much more manageable. Shikakai is also a source of antioxidants that help prevent free-radical aging.

Neem

Neem (Azadirachta indica) is a tree native to India. Its seeds have a high level of essential fatty acids that serve to deeply condition individual hair strands. Also rich in antioxidants and vitamin-E, neem works to protect strands, prevent breakage, and powerfully nourish the hair.

Reetha

Reetha (Sapindus mukorossi) is a traditional medicinal Ayurvedic herb. Its fruit, commonly known as the “soapnut,” has been used to make mild natural haircare products since ancient times. This naturally gentle cleanser leaves hair silky and shiny.

Amla

Amla (Phyllanthus emblica) is a superfruit that has been used for thousands of years in Ayurveda. It’s a powerful antioxidant that rejuvenates and restores the hair while adding lost volume.

Desert Date

Desert Date (Balanites aegyptiaca) is a powerful fruit packed with oleic acid. Adding a layer of protection over the hair, desert date controls water loss, softens hair, and prevents damage as it deeply hydrates thirsty strands.

Castor Oil

Castor oil (Ricinus communis) is obtained by crushing and pressing castor seeds. Its high content of ricinoleic acid along with Omega-6 and Omega-9 fatty acids help to nourish and condition the hair and the scalp. Castor oil traps moisture in the hair, smoothing the cuticle and preventing frizz.

Coconut

Coconut (Cocos nucifera) and its oil are commonly used in haircare, and for good reason. Coconut oil deeply nourishes and moisturizes the hair from within, all while protecting it from heat and environmental damage.

Sesame Oil

The oil in the sesame seeds (Sesamum indicum) is an emollient, meaning it naturally softens hair strands. Its high Omega-3 and Omega-6 content also work to moisturize dry hair and scalps.
